Bingham Hill Cemetery
History
Bingham Hill Cemetery is located just west of North Overland Trail Rd, on Bingham Hill Rd. Less than 2 acres long, the cemetery stretches from an irrigation ditch on the east to a wooden fence on the west. This small, but meaningful place is home to upwards of 300 burials and has been deeply rooted in the Laporte community since its founding in 1862. Throughout the years, over 50,000 guests have visited the cemetery, many of whom have recorded their names in the on-site community guest book.
