Every year, NOCO Style Magazine celebrates the outstanding achievements of influential 20-somethings in our community. This year, we’re proud to share that our very own Amber Graves, 5th generation MFD family member, is one of this year’s honorees! You might know Amber from her delicious business venture, Ummber’s Ice Cream, but she also takes the lead with projects to improve sustainability and production on the farm.
Please bring a yoga mat and water. If you do not have a yoga mat, a limited supply is available to rent during registration for $3. Classes are led by our professional yoga instructor, Shelby.
We’re itching to tell you that our cows have new scratching brushes! If you’ve been up to the farm for a Dairy Tour, you might have noticed the big yellow brushes next to our barns. While these might look like something from a car wash, the brushes are specially built for keeping cows happy! Just like dogs, cows love a good scratch and some fun play time. Brushes are also great for keeping cows clean!
Pictured is part of our Dairy Dream Team replacing the bristle rings. We know these brushes are well-loved with the amount of wear & tear (and hair!) they see in a year. Want to learn more about our farm? Book a Dairy Tour where you’ll get to view our milking rotary parlor, visit our processing plant, and meet our baby calves.
Jacob has been on the team for 7 months and is absolutely crushing it🎉You might recognize Jacob as your milkman as he runs routes in Fort Collins, Masonville, and Timnath.
On delivery, Jacob likes to listen to podcasts and country music! When asked what he would name a cow, Jacob said that his cow would be called Bart.
Jacob shared that he’s enjoying getting to know the folks on his route. If Jacob is your milkman, make sure to say hi and thank him for all of his hard work!
Want to nominate your milkman for September’s Driver of the Month? Send us an email and let us know why! We’d love to hear your feedback.
