Harvest season is over, but our fields are already back to green! Right after we harvest our seasonal corn, we immediately resow our fields with a winter cover crop. This year, we’ve planted triticale, which is a hybrid mix of wheat and rye. This grass is great for keeping our topsoil in place and the microbiome of the dirt healthy! These little sprouts will keep growing on warm winter days until we let our herd out to graze the fields

Pictured are some of our 6th-generation family farmers getting a feel of the land. The greenery in the background may not look like much, but agricultural methods like these help us farm sustainably for generations to come!

Join us this holiday season for our Winter WonDairy farm tours! Led by our friendly and festive guides, our Won-Dairy tours will take you on a wintery walk around our family-owned and operated dairy farm collecting winter-themed treats along the way! You’ll learn about the origin of our farm, explore our historic schoolhouse, see our cows being milked, visit our processing plant, meet adorable calves, and enjoy delicious samples.

Congratulations to Brent, our Driver of the Month for October!

Brent has been on the team for almost 2 years. He’s been crushing it this season, and has now been awarded Driver of the Month twice in 2025!

You might recognize Brent as your milkman if you live in Fort Collins, Loveland, or Windsor.

On delivery, Brent likes to listen to high-energy rock music, with Fleetwood Mac currently in his top artists. When asked what he would name a cow, Brent shared that his cow would be named George!

Cold Weather

Get ready for winter! As we head into colder months, make sure to plan ahead for freezing temperatures and snow. In cold weather, milk and other products can freeze, and bottles can crack or even break. On these days, remember to bring your delivery in right away! If you are not going to be home until later, have a neighbor or friend bring your order in for you so that it isn’t damaged from the freezing weather.
