Smoked Glazed Ham

Spring weather is here so we’re breaking out the smoker! This double smoked, glazed ham will impress your friends, family, and everyone walking by that gets a whiff of it! Don’t have a smoker?! We’ve included instructions to bake your ham as well. Order your ham, butter, apple juice, and smoker pellets all through home delivery.

Glaze

Ingredients: 

  • 1/2 Cup Country Cream Butter* 
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup maple syrup
  • 2 1/2 Cups Talbott’s Apple Juice*

Directions: 

In a small sauce pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Stir in the sugar until dissolved.

Add maple syrup and apple juice.

Bring to a rolling boil, stirring occasionally, and heat for 40 minutes, or until thickened and coats the back of a spoon.

Remove from heat. Can be made ahead and kept in fridge and reheated before use.

Smoked Ham

Ingredients: 

  • Glaze
  • Tender Belly Spiral-Cut Ham*
  • Smokin’ Pecan Pellets*

Directions: 

Heat smoker to 225°F.

Place the ham, flat side down, into the smoker.

Smoke for about 3 hours, remove from heat and brush with glaze.

Return to smoker and cook until internal temperature reaches 140°F .

Don’t have a smoker? Follow the steps below to bake your ham in the oven, or eat it cold!

Baked Ham 

Ingredients: 

  • Glaze
  • Tender Belly Spiral-Cut Ham*

Directions: 

Preheat your oven to 350°F.

Place the ham in a roasting pan, flat side down, and bake for 6-8 minutes per pound.

15 minutes before the ham is done, remove from the oven and increase temperature to 425°F.

Brush the ham with glaze and return to the oven until the glaze is caramelized and the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F.
