Blueberry Lemon Scones

A fun baked treat for enjoying with coffee- made with whole wheat flour and greek yoghurt so you can enjoy your pastries guilt free!


  • 1 ½ cups whole wheat pastry flour or whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons turbinado (raw cane) sugar, plus more for sprinkling on top
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons cold unsalted butter
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • ½ cup plain noosa Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup Morning Fresh milk(any kind!)


Step 1
Preheat oven to 425F

Combine dry ingredients

Add in blueberries and lemon zest
Step 4
Gently mix in milk and yoghurt. It will get more difficult as you mix so don’t be afraid to use your hands!
Step 5
Make a circle with your dough about 1 inch thick. Cut circle into 8 slices. Top with sugar if you’d like!
Step 6
Place on baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
